Sometimes I try to do things, and it just doesn't work out the way I wanted to.
And I get real frustrated and like I try hard to do it.

Probably feel a lot better if you talk about it, so why don't you talk about it?

I go:
No. I don't want to talk about it. I'm okay, I'll figure it out myself but they just keep
Bugging me and they just keep bugging me and it builds up inside.

So you're gonna be institutionalized

I was in my room and I was like just sitting there staring at the wall thinking about
Everything but then again I was thinking about nothing
And my mom came in and I didn't even realize she was there and she calls my
Name but I didn't even hear it, and she started screaming BUDDY! BUDDY!
And I go:
What, what's the matter?
And she goes:
What's the matter with you?
I go:
There's nothing-wrong Mom.
And she goes:
Don't tell me that, you're on drugs!
I go:
Mom I'm not on drugs I'm okay, I was just thinking you know, why don't
You get me a pepsi?
And she goes:
NO you're on drugs!
I go:
Mom I'm okay, I'm just thinking.
She goes:
No you're not thinking, you're on drugs! Normal people don't act that way!
I go:
Mom just give me a Pepsi please
All I want is a Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi, and she wouldn't give it to me.
Just a Pepsi.

They give you a white shirt with long sleeves
Tied around you're back, you're treated like thieves
Drug you up because they're lazy
It's too much work to help a crazy

I was sitting in my room and my mom and my dad came in and they pulled up
A chair and they sat down and they go:

And I go:

They go:

Hurt somebody, we're afraid you're gonna hurt yourself.
So we decided that it would be in your interest if we put you somewhere
Where you could get the help that you need.
And I go:
Wait, what are you talking about, WE decided!? MY best
Interest?! How do you know what MY best interest is? How can you say what
MY best interest is? What are you trying to say, I'M crazy? When I went to
YOUR schools, when I went to YOUR churches, when I went to
YOUR institutional learning facilities?!
How can you say I'm crazy?

They say they're gonna fix my brain
Alleviate my suffering and my pain
But by the time they fix my head
Mentally I'll be dead

Und sie sagen:
Na ja, weißt du, wenn du darüber reden willst, bin ich hier, weißt du, und du wirst dich
Wahrscheinlich viel besser fühlen, wenn du darüber redest, also warum redest du nicht darüber?

Ich sage:
Nein. Ich will nicht darüber reden. Mir geht's gut, ich kriege das selbst hin, aber sie nerven
Mich einfach weiter und sie nerven mich einfach weiter und es staut sich innerlich an.

Also wirst du institutionalisiert
Du kommst raus mit Gehirnwäsche und blutunterlaufenen Augen
Du wirst nichts zu sagen haben
Sie werden dich einer Gehirnwäsche unterziehen, bis du ihre Sichtweise übernimmst.

Ich war in meinem Zimmer und saß einfach nur da und starrte auf die Wand und dachte über
Alles nach, aber andererseits dachte ich über nichts nach
Und meine Mutter kam herein und ich bemerkte nicht einmal, dass sie da war, und sie ruft meinen
Namen, aber ich hörte ihn nicht einmal, und sie fing an zu schreien BUDDY! BUDDY!
Und ich sage:
Was, was ist los?
Und sie sagt:
Was ist mit dir los?
Ich sage:
Es ist nichts los, Mama.
Und sie sagt:
Erzähl mir das nicht, du bist auf Drogen!
Ich sage:
Mama, ich bin nicht auf Drogen, mir geht's gut, ich habe nur nachgedacht, weißt du, warum holst
Du mir nicht eine Pepsi?
Und sie sagt:
NEIN, du bist auf Drogen!
Ich sage:
Mama, mir geht's gut, ich denke nur nach.
Sie sagt:
Nein, du denkst nicht nach, du bist auf Drogen! Normale Leute benehmen sich nicht so!
Ich sage:
Mama, gib mir einfach eine Pepsi, bitte
Alles, was ich will, ist eine Pepsi, und sie wollte sie mir nicht geben

Deine Mutter und ich haben in letzter Zeit bemerkt, dass du viele
Probleme hast, du rastest ohne Grund aus und wir haben Angst, dass du jemanden
Verletzen wirst, wir haben Angst, dass du dich selbst verletzen wirst.
Also haben wir entschieden, dass es in deinem Interesse wäre, wenn wir dich irgendwo unterbringen,
Wo du die Hilfe bekommen kannst, die du brauchst.
Und ich sage:
Warte, wovon redet ihr, WIR haben entschieden!? MEIN bestes
Interesse?! Woher wisst ihr, was MEIN bestes Interesse ist? Wie könnt ihr sagen, was
MEIN bestes Interesse ist? Was wollt ihr damit sagen, ICH bin verrückt? Als ich auf
EURE Schulen ging, als ich in EURE Kirchen ging, als ich in
EURE institutionalisierten Lerneinrichtungen ging?!
Wie könnt ihr sagen, ich sei verrückt?

Sie sagen, sie werden mein Gehirn reparieren
Mein Leiden und meinen Schmerz lindern
Aber bis sie meinen Kopf repariert haben
Werde ich geistig tot sein

Es spielt keine Rolle. Wahrscheinlich werde ich sowieso von einem Auto überfahren.
