அலைகளை அலைகளை பிடித்து கொண்டு
கரைகளை அடைந்தவன் யாருமில்லை
தனிமையில் தனிமையில் தவித்து கொண்டு
சௌக்கியம் அடைவது ஞாயமில்லை
கவலைக்கு மருந்து இந்த ராஜா திரவம்
கண்ணீர் கூட போதையின் மறுவடிவம்
வலி எது வாழ்கை எது விளங்கவில்லை
வட்டத்துக்கு தொடக்கம் முடிவுமில்லை
கையில் கோப்பை இல்லை என்றால்,
கற்பனை வரைவது நின்றுவிடும்
கனவுகள் மட்டும் இல்லை என்றால்,
கவலைகள் நம் உயிரை தின்று விடும்

வாழ்கையின் பிடிமானம் ஏதுமில்லை
இந்த கின்னம் தானே பிடிமானம் வேருஇல்லை
திராட்ஷை தின்பவன் புத்திசாலியா?
பழரசம் குடிப்பவன் குற்றவாளியா?
பெண்ணுக்குள் தொடங்கும் வாழ்க்கை இது
மண்ணுக்குள் முடிகிறதே
விஷயம் தெரிந்தும் மனித இனம்
விண்ணுக்கும் மண்ணுக்கும் பறகிரதே
தோம் கருவில் இருந்தோம்,

Catching the waves after waves,
No one has ever reached the shore.
Struggling in solitude,
It is not right to find solace.
The cure for worry is this royal liquid,
Even tears are another form of intoxication.
I don't understand what is pain and what is life,
The circle has no beginning or end.
If there is no cup in my hand,
My imagination will stop.
If there are no dreams,
Worry will consume my life.
