Shiva Tandava Stotram

With entangled locks that drip with rivulets of celestial waters,
And a garland of massive serpents hanging around his neck,
In the tumultuous rhythm of his damaru, I find my delight,
Shiva's frenzied dance brings me abundance and grace.
His cascading hair entwined with a myriad of writhing streams,
Atop his head, a crown of intricate braids adorns,
On his fiery brow, a blazing fire illuminates the realms,
My heart leaps with joy at the sight of his crescent moon face.
As the consort of Earth's sovereign, he brings joy to her heart,
His boundless grace extends to all, healing every ill,
His compassionate gaze protects me from all dangers that may befall,
At times, he appears in his unadorned glory, a sight to behold,
His locks adorned with snakes, their gleaming scales a sight to see,
His cheeks smeared with fragrant saffron, a spectacle to behold,
His body wrapped in a tiger's skin, a sight to behold,
Oh Lord, your presence fills my heart with wonder and delight.
On his forehead, the third eye gleams like a blazing sun,
He wields the five arrows, his power second to none,
His crown adorned with the crescent moon, a sight to behold,
Oh Lord of the skulls, may your grace ever be upon my soul.
His fierce brow adorned with a blazing fire,
His five arrows pierce through the darkness, a terrifying sight,
The consort of Earth's sovereign, her love knows no bounds,
My heart yearns for you, my love, my love, my love.
