Pues lo que ocurrió después fue que sin saber bien cómo
Con el Pablo y con el Lex vimos nacer a Tr3s Monos
"Música para tus ojos" fue un disco sin ambición
Pero con un corazón latiendo dentro de cada canción

Veníamos hablando de ti en esta entrevista en la calle que estamos haciendo
Creo que nos toca hablar de tus raíces, háblanos ¿Dónde has crecido?

Yo he crecido en Zaragoza entre huracanes y violines
Entre bandidos, titanes y bailarines
La música y el sexo fueron placeres precoces
Un par de ojos extraños en donde te reconoces
Así es cómo he crecido, hermano

Está claro que nosotros te conocemos bien pero
Si tuvieses que presentarte ante un auditorio que no sabe quién es Sharif
Ante un público que no es el tuyo
¿Qué les dirías? ¿Cómo describirías tu música?

Muy fácilmente
La describiría como música folclórica atemporal, como Dellafuente
Con palabras sencillas, tratar de hacer canciones eternas
De esas que te arañan por dentro, ya sea el corazón o la entrepierna

You were telling us earlier about how you started out, but

Well, what happened next was that without really knowing how
With Pablo and Lex we saw Tr3s Monos being born
"Music for your eyes" was an album with no ambition
But with a heart beating inside each song

We were talking about you in this interview on the street that we're doing
I think it's time to talk about your roots, tell us where did you grow up?

I grew up in Zaragoza among hurricanes and violins
Among bandits, titans, and dancers
Music and sex were early pleasures
A couple of strange eyes where you recognize yourself
That's how I grew up, brother

It's clear that we know you well but
If you had to introduce yourself to an audience that doesn't know who Sharif is
To an audience that is not yours
What would you say? How would you describe your music?

Very easily
I would describe it as timeless folk music, like Dellafuente
With simple words, trying to make eternal songs
The kind that scratch you on the inside, whether it's your heart or your crotch
