سورة الغاشية

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ
عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ
تَصْلَى نَارًا حَامِيَةً
تُسْقَى مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ
لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلاَّ مِن ضَرِيعٍ
لا يُسْمِنُ وَلا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ
لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
لّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لاغِيَةً
فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ
فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ
وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ
وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
أَفَلا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
وَإِلَى السَّمَاء كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
وَإِلَى الأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ
لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
إِلاَّ مَن تَوَلَّى وَكَفَرَ
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الأَكْبَرَ
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ

Sura Al-Ghashiyah

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem
Has news of the Overwhelming come unto thee (O Muhammad)?
Some faces, that Day, will be humbled,
Toiling and moiling,
They will be exposed to the scorching Fire,
And given to drink of a boiling spring,
No food will they have save a bitter thorny plant,
Which will neither fatten nor satisfy hunger.
Some faces, that Day, will be joyful,
Well-pleased with that which they have striven,
In a lofty Garden,
Wherein thou shalt hear no idle talk,
Therein a running spring,
And raised couches,
And goblets placed,
And cushions in rows,
And rich carpets spread out.
Look! Have they not observed the camels, how they are created,
And the heaven, how it is raised high,
And the mountains, how they are set firm,
And the earth, how it is spread out?
Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish.
Thou hast no authority over them, to compel them,
Save him who turns back and disbelieves;
Then God will punish him with the most severe punishment.
Truly, unto Us is their return;
Then, truly, upon Us is their account.
