Surah Al Infitar

Idzaa assamaau infatharath
Wa-idzaa alkawaakibu intatsarath
Wa-idzaa albihaaru fujjirath
Wa-idzaa alqubuuru bu'tsirath
'Alimat nafsun maa qaddamat wa-akhkharath
Yaa ayyuhaa al-insaanu maa gharraka birabbika alkariimi
Alladzii khalaqaka fasawwaaka fa'adalaka
Fii ayyi shuuratin maa syaa-a rakkabaka
Kallaa bal tukadzdzibuuna bialddiini
Wa-inna 'alaykum lahaafizhiina
Kiraaman kaatibiina
Ya'lamuuna maa taf'aluuna
Inna al-abraara lafii na'iimin
Wa-inna alfujjaara lafii jahiimin
Yashlawnahaa yawma alddiini
Wamaa hum 'anhaa bighaa-ibiina
Wamaa adraaka maa yawmu alddiini
Tsumma maa adraaka maa yawmu alddiini
Yawma laa tamliku nafsun linafsin
Syay-an waal-amru yawma-idzin lillaahi

Surah Al Infitar

When the sky is split open,
When the stars are scattered,
When the oceans are poured out,
When the graves are overturned,
Then each soul will know what it has done, and what it has left undone.
O son of man, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Most Generous?
Who created you, and proportioned you, and perfected you?
In whatever form He willed, He assembled you.
No! Rather, you deny the Judgment,
And indeed, there are appointed over you,
Noble scribes,
They know whatever you do.
Indeed, the righteous are in a state of bliss.
And indeed, the wicked are in a state of doom.
They will burn in it on the Day of Judgment,
And they will not be absent from it.
And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgment?
Again, what can make you know what is the Day of Judgment?
It is the Day when no soul will have any power over another soul,
And the command on that Day is only for Allah.
