命も消せないまま歌いつづける

あの人は今も元気で 住みなれた街にいるのか
幸福に近づく時は いつも心沈むけど
私を育てた やさしい人たち
私を恨んで 生きてる人達
たとえつらくても私は負けない
この手握りしめて 歩いてゆける

恋ならば失くしてもいい
いつの日か笑える日がくる
夢だけは失くさないで 生きてゆけなくなる
たとえ人が何と言おうと
夢があれば 歩いてゆける
たった１人でも 友もいなくても
涙流しながら 歩いて ゆける

Another light has gone out
Vaguely leaning against the windowsill
There was no one to even send a letter to as I watched the dark road
The ship's whistle tapped on the window
Taking me away to the distant past
Someone sang that sad old song
Continuing to sing even though life could not be extinguished

Is that person still well and living in that familiar town?
Whenever I get closer to happiness, my heart sinks
The kind people who raised me
The people who live hating me
I will not be defeated, no matter how hard it is
I can walk forward, clutching this hand

If it is love, then it's okay to lose it
Someday, a day will come when I can laugh
I can't live without losing my dreams
No matter what people say
If I have a dream, I can keep walking
Even if I am all alone, even if I don't have any friends
