كه شهر از تو خالي است كسي غزل نخوانده است

كسي نگفت تا كه من خدايي نكرده نشكنم
غافل از اينكه خود من حادثه شكستنم

كسي به من نگفته بود كه باغ را بهار نيست
در پس پشت پنجره كسي در انتظار نيست

كسي به من خبر نداد كه تو به خواب رفته اي
مث گل سفيد خواب به شط آب رفته اي

Between the past and me, the bridge of journey is broken

No one told me that the house is left without you
That the city is empty of you, no one has sung a Ghazal

No one told me, lest I break, God forbid
Unaware that I myself am the incident of breaking

No one told me that the garden has no spring
Behind the window, no one is waiting

No one told me that you have fallen asleep
Like a white rose asleep, drifted away on the river's flow
