A Rider's Dream

This is the story,
The story of a common man.
One day while looking at the sky,
A sign caught his eye.

He found some driftwood,
A gift from the river.
He carved a horse with wings of fire,
And painted a star on it.

With his feathered hat,
And a coat shimmering like moonlight,
He set out one night with his horse.
A mere dot in the vastness.

That rider's tracks vanished,
And no one heard from him again.
