زارَ الزعيمُ المؤتَمَـنْ
بعضَ ولاياتِ الوَطـنْ
وحينَ زارَ حَيَّنا
قالَ لنا:
هاتوا شكاواكـم بصِـدقٍ في العَلَـنْ
ولا تَخافـوا أَحَـداً.
فقَـدْ مضى ذاكَ الزّمَـنْ .
فقالَ صاحِـبي (حَسَـنْ):
يا سيّـدي
أينَ الرّغيفُ والَلّبَـنْ ؟
وأينَ تأمينُ السّكَـنْ ؟
وأيـنَ توفيرُ المِهَـنْ ؟
وأينَ مَـنْ
يُوفّـرُ الدّواءَ للفقيرِ دونمـا ثَمَـنْ ؟
قالَ الرئيسُ في حَـزَنْ:
أحْـرَقَ ربّـي جَسَـدي
أَكُـلُّ هذا حاصِـلٌ في بَلَـدي ؟!
شُكراً على صِـدْقِكَ في تنبيهِنا يا وَلَـدي

Where Is It All?

The trusted leader visited
Some states of the country
And when he visited our neighborhood
He told us:
Tell us your complaints honestly in public
And don't fear anyone.

My lord,
Where is the bread and milk?
And where is the provision of housing?
And where is the provision of jobs?
And where is the one
Who provides medicine to the poor for free?
The president said with regret:
May my God burn my body
