And I felt language rise up in me that was unhooked from English

(Or words to that effect).
And I wondered then what it all meant, and why it felt so good
(If it didnt mean anything).
And I thought about it a few years, actually, and I decided, you know,
That meaning and language are two different things.
And that what the alien voice in the
Psychedelic experience wants to reveal
Is the syntactical nature of reality.
That the real secret of magic, is that the world is made of words,
And that if you know the words that the world is made of,
You make of it, whatever you wish!

And one of the things that I learned about DMT,
Was that, if you ever had it,
Even just once, then you can have a dream.
And in this dream somebody will pull out a little glass pipe,
And then it will happen.
It will happen just like the real thing.
Because theres a button somewhere inside each and
Every one of us that gives you a look into the other side.
And that's the button that resets the compass
That tells you where you want to sail.

Et je me suis demandé alors ce que tout cela voulait dire, et pourquoi cela me faisait tellement de bien
(Si ça ne voulait rien dire).
Et j'y ai réfléchi pendant quelques années, en fait, et j'ai décidé, tu sais,
Que le sens et le langage sont deux choses différentes.
Et que ce que la voix extraterrestre dans l'expérience
Psychédélique veut révéler
C'est la nature syntaxique de la réalité.
Que le vrai secret de la magie, c'est que le monde est fait de mots,
Et que si tu connais les mots dont le monde est fait,
Tu en fais ce que tu veux !

Et l'une des choses que j'ai apprises sur le DMT,
C'est que, si tu en as déjà pris,
Ne serait-ce qu'une seule fois, alors tu peux faire un rêve.
Et dans ce rêve, quelqu'un sortira un petit tuyau en verre,
Et puis ça va arriver.
Ça se passera exactement comme dans la vraie vie.
Parce qu'il y a un bouton quelque part à l'intérieur de chacun
Et de chacun d'entre nous qui te donne un aperçu de l'autre côté.
Et c'est ce bouton qui réinitialise la boussole
Qui te dit où tu veux naviguer.
