The hotels, the restaurants
We just walked past

In the morning we woke up early
On the beach, for hours
We got nice and tan

We went to the beach

And when the waves were calm
We spent the day on the islands
Except when we couldn't anymore

So, we looked at the boats
We sucked on ice pops
Our hearts sank a little
But it was beautiful anyway
