Hör ich nicht auf
Draußen zu suchen
Lange zufrieden bin ich nie
Ich will's mir offen halten
Ob ich's nicht doch haben kann
Wie in der reklame mit all den schönen gestalten
Mich so zu fühlen
Aber was kommt dann?
Und ich frag mich:
Ist das die große freiheit
Ist es das was ich will

Manchmal liege ich einfach nur da
Augen voll himmel & wolken die toben
Und muss ich nichts haben
Und wenn ich wie die wolken
Ich bin die wolken
So leicht und ungeheuer oben

I can drive wherever I want
No one stops me
I often don't get enough
What haven't I already bought for myself
I have painted by numbers
And lived like everyone else

And pasted the pictures of it into the album
Sometimes I ask myself:
Is this great freedom
Is it what I want

No matter where I arrive
There is always another horizon
And somehow
I don't stop
Searching outside
I am never satisfied for long
I want to keep it open
If I can't have it after all
Like in the advertisement with all the beautiful people
To feel like that
But what comes next?
And I ask myself:
Is this great freedom
Is it what I want
Great freedom

Sometimes I just lie there
Eyes full of sky & clouds that rage
And I don't have to have anything
And when I am like the clouds
I am the clouds
So light and monstrous above
And that is then for me
