Os cegos errados

Fizestes nascer
Sol tão fecundo,
E, com as nuvens,

Toquem em vosso peito,
Os clamores meus.

Santa Maria, rainha dos céus,
Mãe de Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo, Senhora do mundo,

E alcançai de vosso amado Filho o perdão de todos os meus pecados,

Mereça na outra vida alcançar o prêmio da bem-aventurança,

Giving the sun covetousness

You are the beautiful lily,
That smells a breath
Among the thorns.

The wrath of the serpent
You break,
With your power.
The blind erring
You light.

You have made born
Sun so fecund,
And, with the clouds,
Covered the world.

Hear, Mother of God,
My prayer.
May they touch your breast,
My cries.

Holy Mary, Queen of Heaven,
Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Lady of the World,
Who does not abandon or despise any sinner,
Lay, Madam, upon me the eyes of your piety
And obtain from your beloved Son the pardon of all my sins,
So that I, who now venerate with devotion
Your Holy and Immaculate Conception,
May deserve in the other life to attain the prize of blessedness,
By the merit of your blessed Son Jesus Christ, our Lord,
Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit
