Right now we are celebrating Fearless and you know I mentioned a little while ago
That Taylor Swift tends to write a lot about love but it's not always happy songs

Breathe is another sad song, I like sad songs, it's a song about having to say goodbye to somebody
And the chorus just says over and over again, I can't breathe without you but I have to
And it's sort of like a mantra that I've said to myself on more than one occasion
Like I can't breathe without you but I have to, I have to do this, I have to, I can't but I have to
And so I wanted to write with Colbie so bad because I've been such a fan of her record
And she was one of my favorite, favorite new artist of this last year and I contacted her management
And said, "Please let me write with her, I really want to meet her and I wanna write with her"
And so she came into the show in Nashville and they made sure that I had that day off
And so I met with her at her management company and brought her this idea
And we wrote it together and it's about losing a person who feels like a piece of you
Feels like a piece of you is missing but you have to because you have no choice

Et donc je voulais tellement écrire avec Colbie car j'ai toujours été fan de son album
Et elle était l'une de mes artistes préférées, nouvelles, de l'année dernière, et j'ai contacté sa direction
Et je lui ai dit : "S'il vous plaît, laissez-moi écrire avec elle, j'ai vraiment envie de la rencontrer et je veux écrire avec elle."
Alors elle est venue au spectacle à Nashville et ils se sont assurés que j'avais ce jour-là de libre
