Lord Jesus Christ, King of Glory,
deliver the souls of all the faithful departed
from the punishments of hell and from the deep abyss.

Deliver them from the lion's mouth,
lest Tartarus swallow them,
lest they fall into darkness.

But may the holy standard-bearer Michael
present them to the holy light
which You once promised to Abraham and his descendants.

We offer to You, Lord, sacrifices and prayers of praise;
