Well, the plane landed and when I came out
There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out
I ain't trying to get arrested yet
I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared
I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought 'Nah, forget it' - 'Yo, homes to Bel Air'
I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later'
I looked at my kingdom
I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air

Alors, voici une histoire qui raconte comment

Je bois du jus d'orange dans un verre à champagne.

Mais attends, j'ai entendu dire qu'ils sont prétentieux, bourgeois, tout ça

Bon, l'avion a atterri et quand j'en suis sorti
Il y avait un mec qui ressemblait à un flic debout là avec mon nom dessus
Je veux pas me faire arrêter tout de suite
Je viens d'arriver
Je me suis enfui vite comme l'éclair, j'ai disparu
J'ai sifflé un taxi et quand il est arrivé près de moi
La plaque d'immatriculation disait "Fresh" et il y avait des dés dans le rétroviseur
Si je pouvais dire quoi que ce soit, c'est que ce taxi était rare
Mais j'ai pensé "Non, oublie ça" - "Yo, chez moi à Bel-Air"
Je suis arrivé devant la maison vers 7 ou 8
Et j'ai crié au chauffeur "Yo mec, à plus tard"
J'ai regardé mon royaume
J'étais enfin là
