When I first saw the title VHS we hadn't talked about that song and I'm like what is this going to be about?

And then Very Hot Summer of course, what a jam

Yeah for sure man another song that I wrote with Amy Wadge and Jesse Frasure and Ashley Gorley
And I remember being in the room that day
And Jesse said, "I have this title called VHS"
And I probably went to where your brain went like a tape like what I used to watch all my old Disney movies on and
He goes, "But it stands for Very Hot Summer" and I was like, "That's cool man" like I've never heard that title
I've never heard that idea so we started just writing this super funky, uptempo summer jam
Just about kinda just riding around in like a top off jeep on the coast of somewhere
And being like I don't care what the weather's doing it could be 40 degrees
It's about to be a very hot summer because you're sitting in the passenger's seat
And uh I remember playing this song like on vacation after we'd written this song and I was just like, "This is a jam"
This is one of those songs that I just play on repeat in the gym, on the bus it's like a warm up track before we go on stage
I just think people are gonna have so much fun with how lighthearted and just fun this song is

Turn it up, VHS, Very Hot Summer and this tour's coming out and it's gonna be a be a very hot tour

Salut, c'est Thomas Rhett, et vous écoutez le spécial de sortie de mon album Center Point Road

Cette chanson est tellement amusante que vous avez décidé de nommer votre tournée d'après elle

Ouais, c'est ça.

Quand j'ai vu le titre VHS pour la première fois, on n'avait pas encore parlé de cette chanson, et je me suis dit : "De quoi ça va parler ?"

Ouais.

Et puis Very Hot Summer, bien sûr, quel tube !

Oui, bien sûr, mec, une autre chanson que j'ai écrite avec Amy Wadge, Jesse Frasure et Ashley Gorley.
Et je me souviens d'avoir été dans la pièce ce jour-là.
Et Jesse a dit : "J'ai ce titre, VHS".
Et j'ai probablement pensé comme toi : "Une cassette vidéo ? C'est comme ça que je regardais tous mes vieux films Disney." Et
Il a dit : "Mais ça veut dire Very Hot Summer" (été très chaud). Et j'ai dit : "C'est cool, mec, j'ai jamais entendu ce titre."
J'ai jamais entendu cette idée, alors on a commencé à écrire ce morceau super funky, un hymne estival.
C'est un peu comme rouler en jeep décapotable sur la côte, quelque part.
Et se dire : "Je m'en fiche du temps qu'il fait, il peut faire 4 degrés."
Ce sera un été très chaud parce que tu es assise sur le siège passager.
Et euh, je me souviens d'avoir écouté cette chanson en vacances après l'avoir écrite, et j'ai dit : "C'est un tube !"
C'est l'une de ces chansons que j'écoute en boucle à la salle de sport, dans le bus, c'est comme un échauffement avant de monter sur scène.
Je pense que les gens vont s'amuser tellement avec cette chanson, elle est si légère et amusante.

Monte le son, VHS, Very Hot Summer, et cette tournée arrive, et ça va être une tournée très chaude.
