Aber außer den Liedern ist nichts übrig geblieben.

Ich habe Bücher gelesen und weiß nicht, was darin steht.
Ich hab nur eines gelernt: dass alles vergeht.

Wenn auch ich einmal fort bin, wünsch ich mir, dass ihr an mich denkt
Und dass in einem alten Laden noch ein Poster von mir hängt.
Sollte das nicht der Fall sein, gibt es noch immer die Musik.
Damit hat meine größte Liebe die Vergänglichkeit besiegt.
