Tja, ich hab mich leider nie damit beschäftigt und geplant

Scheinbar kommt da niemand hin, immer wieder befind'
Ich mich allein auf weiter Flur und drehe meine Runden
Nur ich und die Natur und die Lieder eines Vagabunden
Ich hab mein Glück gefunden, und werd' es wieder finden
Denn ich war nie gebunden, an materielle Dinge
Wenn es so ist das euch das Geld Sicherheit gibt dann
Hab ich scheinbar Angst vor nix!
Denn ich hab heute Nacht einen Platz zum schlafen gehabt
Salz, Wasser und 'ne Packung Nudeln machten mich satt
Und jetzt sitz' ich hier zufrieden mit vollgeschlagenem Magen
Und fühl mich alles andere als arm
Und ich fahr' mit dem Wochenendticket durch deine Stadt
Und kritzel' nebenbei Gedichte aufs Blatt
Das Paar Schuhe und der Mantel den ich trag' halten mich warm
Tja, ich bin alles andere als arm
Ich bin reich an Gedanken
Ein ganzes Reich voller Fantastereien ohne Grenzen oder Schranken
Ohne feste Gesetze und ohne Regeln oder etwas
Das mich davon abhält diesen schönen Weg fortzusetzen
Mir geht's echt nicht schlecht, ich musste nie Hunger leiden
Und eigentlich weiß ich gar nicht was es heißt, arm zu sein
Manche Menschen verzweifeln weil sie nichts zu beißen haben
Deshalb siehst du mich nicht einmal beklagen über meine Lage
In unseren Breitengraden gibt es viele die viel Scheine haben
Während die am anderen Ende der Welt in der Scheiße baden
Allein die Tatsache treibt einen sicher in den Wahnsinn
Ich bin froh nicht allzu zu viel zu tun zu haben mit dem Schwachsinn
Wie will man wahre Werte wahren, wenn
Alles vom Marktwert der Ware abhängt
Bin nicht arm, nur ein Junge mit ein paar unprofitablen Ideen
Aber dieser Junge weiß was zählt!

Anything But Poor

Yeah, I never really bothered to plan ahead,
And now the bills pile up year after year.
I chose rapping over planning my career,
And it shows in my bank account, that's clear.
But it's alright, I have a fulfilling life,
Sitting on the train, knowing things will work out somehow.
Sure, I don't earn much, and the paths I take are open to everyone,
Walkable and accessible, but no matter where I go,
It seems like nobody else gets there. I find myself
Alone on this long road, going around in circles,
Just me and nature, and the songs of a vagabond.
I've found my happiness, and I'll find it again,
Because I've never been tied to material things.
If money is what gives you security, then
I guess I'm not afraid of anything!
Because I had a place to sleep last night,
Salt, water, and a pack of noodles filled my belly,
And now I sit here content, with a full stomach,
Feeling anything but poor.
And I ride with a weekend ticket through your city,
Scribbling poems on a piece of paper,
The pair of shoes and the coat I wear keep me warm,
Yeah, I'm anything but poor.
I'm rich in thoughts,
An entire empire of fantasies without borders or limits,
Without strict laws, rules, or anything
That stops me from continuing on this beautiful path.
I'm not doing badly, I've never gone hungry,
And honestly, I don't even know what it means to be poor.
Some people despair because they have nothing to eat,
That's why you'll never see me complain about my situation.
In our part of the world, there are many who have a lot of money,
While others at the other end of the world are swimming in shit.
That fact alone is enough to drive anyone insane,
I'm glad I don't have much to do with that nonsense.
How can you preserve true values when
Everything depends on the market value of goods?
I'm not poor, just a guy with a few unprofitable ideas,
