Unser Leutnant ist der aufsteigende Typ,
Spielt' als Knabe Soldat, das ist ja klar,
Es steht in den Sternen eingeschrieben, daß bald er Gold besitzt,
Doch schafft er die nöt'gen Markendeckel-Punkte noch nicht, Schwierigkeiten sind da.

Unser Hauptmann kämpft mit 'nem Handicap empor, so ist die Kunde,
Er stammt aus Georgia; unsre Sprache fällt ihm nicht so munter.
Er war, so raunt man wohl ganz leise, der Mann für Ruh' auf Alcatraz zuvor.
