So I meet a lot of people
And sometimes I run into someone who says
Aw man I really like this person
I want to be with them
And I′m like yo, do they love God
Like is God their first?
And um, they say wellll... Kinda
And I'm like, listen
I know you don′t like this
But I have to say pause
Cos if that person doesn't love God first
Where are they going to pull from to love you

They gotta love God
Before they can love you
Cos if they haven't loved the Lord
They really don′t know how to love you from the Word yet
They gotta know Love
And the person that is love is God
And if they haven′t loved Him first
Where will they pull from to love you more

Through the good and the bad and the ugly
You gonna need somebody right there
And if they ain't nothing but Worldly
They not going have enough for you to spare
Cos love is hard thing
For real it takes real patience Ya′ll
For someone to stick with you through all you going through
You need perseverance Ya'll

Cos when the Bible says love is patient
What it means your patience will be tried
When the Bible says love is kind
It′s telling you you are about to get tired
If love doesn't keep a record of wrongs
It means you gonna need to forget
If love is so humble
It means you′re not focused on only what you get
If love is so long suffering
Get ready to suffer for long
And if you ain't ready to do that
Jesus might not be the one to whom you belong
Don't get me wrong I′m not saying unbelievers don′t love
What I am sayin' is that without God
It ain′t going to last so long

They gotta love God
Before they can love you

They gotta know Love

And if they haven't loved Him first

Love is not a game
Love is not a pretty name
Love is not just fleeting, it is something that remains
Love is not just Eros
Even Phileo is not the whole thang
From the sacrifice of Agape
Is where your heart learns to be tame

Pleasure is good and fine
And best believe that I want to get mine
But you don′t want to get caught up
Thinking that's what you goin get the whole time
There will be challenges

But when come the damages
Will you be strong

In the moments when you don't get along
You still able to say I belong

Durch Gutes, Schlechtes und Hässliches
Du wirst jemanden brauchen, der genau da ist
Und wenn er/sie nichts als weltlich ist
Wird er/sie nicht genug für dich übrig haben
Denn Liebe ist eine harte Sache
Ehrlich, es braucht echte Geduld, Mann
Damit jemand bei dir bleibt, durch alles, was du durchmachst
Du brauchst Ausdauer, Mann

Denn wenn die Bibel sagt, Liebe ist geduldig
Bedeutet das, deine Geduld wird geprüft
Wenn die Bibel sagt, Liebe ist gütig
Sagt sie dir, dass du müde werden wirst
Wenn die Liebe das Böse nicht anrechnet
Bedeutet das, du musst vergessen
Wenn die Liebe so demütig ist
Bedeutet das, du konzentrierst dich nicht nur darauf, was du bekommst

Aus dem Opfer der Agape
Lernt dein Herz, gezähmt zu werden

Vergnügen ist gut und schön
Und glaub mir, ich will meinen Teil bekommen
Aber du willst dich nicht darin verfangen
Zu denken, das ist es, was du die ganze Zeit bekommen wirst
Es wird Herausforderungen geben
