Les marchands de ton Pays
Sont venus, nous ont tout pris."
J'ai vu, dans les monts d'Asie,
Des valets se faire la guerre
Au nom des dieux,
Des enfants aux yeux rougis
Trimant à l'âge de faire
Des jeux.
Dans un train, en Californie,
Une fille aux fleurs m'a souri:
"Je suis Judith et t'offre ma nuit.
Demain je serai partie,
Dame de cœur pour d'autres parties."
Et je ne sais plus aujourd'hui
Si j'ai mal d'elle plus que du Pays...

On leaving, they put
A deck of cards in the middle

Tomorrow I'll be gone,
Queen of hearts for other parties."
And I don't know anymore today
If she hurts me more than the Country...
