Umr uzun yo′l, bekatlari mo'l,
Biri nurafshon, birida soya.
Navqiron do′stim, o'zing o'ylab ko′r:
Senga qadrdon ne maqsad, g′oya?
Bor shunday bekat, etguvchi sarson,
Bekorchilarga manzil-u makon.
Sen bu bekatda to'xtasang agar,
Umring adog′i – afsus, pushaymon!

Ertangi hayot emasdir o′yin.
Kamol topmasang o'qib, o′rganib,
Keyin o'rningni topmog'ing qiyin.
Bor shunday bekat – borlig′i yorug′,
Ilm-u hunarga, hikmatga to'liq.

Qalbing to′rida maqsading ulug'.
Yana bir bekat o′yinlar aro,
Vaqtni boy berma, aldanma aslo.
Qolib ketsang gar ushbu bekatda,
Seni xorlikka etar mubtalo.
