Surah Al-Ghashiyah

سورة الغاشية
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
﴿١﴾هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْغَاشِيَةِ
﴿٢﴾وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ
﴿٣﴾عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ
﴿٤﴾تَصْلَىٰ نَاراً حَامِيَةً
﴿٥﴾تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ
﴿٦﴾لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلاَّ مِن ضَرِيعٍ
﴿٧﴾لاَّ يُسْمِنُ وَلاَ يُغْنِى مِن جُوعٍ
﴿٨﴾وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ
﴿٩﴾لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ
﴿١٠﴾فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
﴿١١﴾لاَّ تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لاَغِيَةً
﴿١٢﴾فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ
﴿١٣﴾فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ
﴿١٤﴾وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ
﴿١٥﴾وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ
﴿١٦﴾وَزَرَابِىُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
﴿١٧﴾أَفَلاَ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلإِبْلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
﴿١٨﴾وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
﴿١٩﴾وَإِلَىٰ ٱلْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
﴿٢٠﴾وَإِلَى ٱلأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
﴿٢١﴾فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ
﴿٢٢﴾لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُسَيْطِرٍ
﴿٢٣﴾إِلاَّ مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
﴿٢٤﴾فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلأَكْبَرَ
﴿٢٥﴾إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ
﴿٢٦﴾ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ

Surah Al-Ghashiyah

Surah Al-Ghashiyah
IN THE NAME OF ALLAH, THE MOST GRACIOUS, THE MOST MERCIFUL
﴿1﴾Has there come to you the narration of the Overwhelming?
﴿2﴾On that Day [some] faces will be humbled,
﴿3﴾Weary from labor, exhausted.
﴿4﴾They will [enter to] burn in a Blazing Fire.
﴿5﴾They will be given drink from a boiling spring.
﴿6﴾For them there will be no food except from a poisonous plant
﴿7﴾Which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger.
﴿8﴾And [other] faces - that Day - will be radiant,
﴿9﴾Pleased with their endeavor.
﴿10﴾In lofty Gardens.
﴿11﴾Therein they will hear no idle talk.
﴿12﴾And therein is a flowing spring.
﴿13﴾And therein are raised couches
﴿14﴾And adorned cups.
﴿15﴾And cushions lined up
﴿16﴾And carpets spread out.
﴿17﴾Do they not observe the camels - how they are created?
﴿18﴾And the sky - how it is raised?
﴿19﴾And the mountains - how they are set up?
﴿20﴾And the earth - how it is spread out?
﴿21﴾So remind, [O Muhammad]. You are only a reminder.
﴿22﴾You are not over them a controller.
﴿23﴾Except for he who turns away and disbelieves.
﴿24﴾Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
﴿25﴾Indeed, [all] to Us is their return.
﴿26﴾Then indeed, upon Us is their account.
