Ready?

Vic: as always getting lost in the moonlight,
I was studying the books on the shelf.
Often times she travelled in to the future,
Oe time she even seen herself.

She was singing to herself in the traffic,
Groovin' hard, and waving her arms. (?)
One strange thing she happened to notice,
Was somehow she had lost all her charm.

Lisa: Maybe it's you.
Vic: I dunno. Could be me, could be you.

Lisa: Is it true?

Vic: I to had recently tripped to the future,
And I had seen the same in myself.
I was crossing the street in a raincoat,
I looked sad, failing in health.
I didn't walk where the sunlight could find me,
I turned the corners with my eyes to the ground.
A trail of chain-wearin' ghosts were behind me,
And where I walked, I dragged them around.

Lisa: You dodged the sun because it reminded you of a graveyard,
You only raise your eye's when you reach a ... (?)
Aside from nothin' there is nothin' to look at,
What you love is your long trail of ghosts.
Vic: I liked the way you were dancing in traffic,
You carried yourself with a true junky air.
You were yellin' to someone, on the corner,
When I lokked there was nobody there.

So what'd you think, is that you?
Lisa: Or maybe its you.
Vic: I dunno. I guess that could've been me.
That could be you. I thin...
Lisa: Is it true?

I'm not sure what to make of this vision,
Should I be fearful of the sun going down?
Should I be working toward a revision?
I'll just be happy we are beautiful now.
Vic: I'll take a trip to observe us as children,
Take note of what makes us laugh and cry.
I'll ask the teachers for your permanent record,
If there's a reason, I'll know why.
Lisa: ... (?)
You'll be just as confused by the past.
I'll visit you at the end of your season,
And watch your eyes as you breathe in your last.

Vic: So what'd you think, could be true huh?

Lisa: Or is it you?
Vic: I don't know, could be you?
Lisa: Is it true?

Vic: Ich stolpert' kürzlich auch vorwärts in der Zeit,
Sah dasselbe Bild von mir selbst.
Ich überquerte die Straße im Regenmantel,
Sah traurig aus, geschwächt an Gesund'.
Ich ging nicht, wo die Sonne mich fand,
Bog um Ecken mit Blick auf den Grund.
Ein Zug kettentragender Geister bemannt,
Und wohin ich ging, zog ich sie rund'.

Lisa: Du miedst die Sonne, sie erinnerte an ein Grab,
Hebst nur die Augen, erreichst ein ... (?)
Abgesehen von nichts gibt's nichts zu sehn,
Was du liebst, ist dein Geistergespann.
Vic: Mir gefiel, wie du tanztest im Verkehr,
Trugst dich mit echter Junkie-Luft.
Du schriest zu jemand an der Ecke her,
Doch als ich hinsah, war niemand dort.

Was denkst du, ist das du?
Lisa: Oder vielleicht du.
Vic: Weiß nicht. Könnt ich gewesen sein.
Könntest du sein. Ich glaub...
Lisa: Ist das wahr?

Ich weiß nicht recht, was mit dem Bild ich tu',
Sollt ich Angst vorm Sonnenuntergang haben?
Sollt ich nach einer Änderung streben?
Ich bin nur froh, dass wir jetzt schön sind.
Vic: Ich reise, uns als Kinder zu sehn,
Merke, was uns lachen und weinen lässt.
Ich frag die Lehrer nach deinem Zeugnis,
Find ich den Grund, weiß ich warum.
Lisa: ... (?)
Du wirst von der Vergangenheit auch verwirrt sein.
Ich besuch dich, wenn deine Zeit endet,
Seh deinen Augen beim letzten Atem zu.

Vic: Was denkst du, könnte wahr sein, hm?
Ist es du?
Lisa>Oder bist du es?
Vic: Ich weiß nicht, wärst du es?
Lisa>Ist es wahr?
