Der Sänger aber sorgt in trauer-läuften

Die die Seele weiß.***

Gestählt im banne der verruchten jahre
Ein jung geschlecht das wieder mensch und ding
Mit echten Maassen misst - das schön und ernst
Froh seiner einzigkeit - vor Fremdem stolz.
Sich gleich entfernt von klippen dreisten dünkels
Wie seichtem sumpf erlogner brüderei*

In Sternenfieber,
Das nie ein Auge maß,
Nächte, Lieber,
Daß man des Tods vergaß,
Im Zeiten-Einen,
Im Schöpfungsschrei
Kommt das Vereinen,
Nimmt hin - vorbei.***

Er führt durch sturm und grausige signale
Des frührots seiner treuen schar zum werk
Des wachen tags und pflanzt das Neue Reich. *

The New Reich

The singer though takes care in these sad times
That the marrow does not rot - the germ suffocate.
He stirs the holy fire that springs over
And shapes the bodies.*

Lead us through storm and gruesome signals
And plant within us the New Reich**

He fetches from the books
Of the forefathers the promise that does not deceive
That the chosen ones are bound for the highest goal
To first venture through deepest voids*

O Absolute,
That covers my forehead,
For which I struggle,
From which the prize
Of deep things,
That the soul knows.***

Tempered in the spell of the cursed years
A young generation that again measures man and thing
With genuine dimensions - that is beautiful and serious
Happy in its uniqueness - proud before the foreign.
Equally distant from the cliffs of presumptuous boldness
As from the shallow swamps of feigned fraternity*

In star fever,
Which no eye ever measured,
Nights, O Darling,
To forget about death,
In the Oneness of the Ages,
In the Primordial Cry
The Unification comes,
Accept - it passes by.***

He leads through storm and gruesome signals
The dawn of his loyal host to the work
Of the vigilant day and establishes the New Reich. *
