Die statt "man sagt" "frau sagt" sag'n und auch sonst sehr aufgeregt.
Sie meinen, dass sie Opfer san von maskulinen Trieben.
Ned im G'sicht, oba hoit doch im Kopf, san's 1970 steck'n blieb'n.
Früher hob i immer g'sogt - und wir woa des söba fad scho -
"Bitte glaub ma's wirklich ned, na, i bin ka Macho!"
Heute denk i ma hob mi gern, wannst manst, dann wird's scho passen,
Damit muasst du selber fertig werd'n!
Und i bleib gelassen.
I bleib gelassen heut', i huach goa ned zua, und i sog mit Gelassenheit,
"Gehen's lass'ns mi in Ruah!"
Oder in der Politik, ob jetzt Aussen oder Innen.
Obs jetzt Ladies san, und Gentlemen, ob Österreicher und reicherinnen,
Waß ma 80 Prozent san g'logen, ausg'mocht und geschönt.
20 Prozent werden vertuscht, an des hob i mi scho g'wöhnt.
Früher hot mi des aufg'regt: "Hallo, hallo, wos is denn los?
Schaut's es uns fia Trotteln an? Seid's es deppert oder wos?"
Heute waß i, wia des rennt, jeder füllt die eigenen Kassen.
Doch i bin fia euch ka Patient und i bleib gelassen.
I bleib gelassen heut'i horch goa ned zua, und i sog mit Gelassenheit:

Composure

There are people, and quite a lot, who insist on engaging you in conversations,
That you don't want to have, and over and over again you come across them.
They only tell you crap about the value of happiness,
They steal your time, talk a lot and say nothing!
I used to stop out of sheer politeness.
I said, "Yes, you're right, everyone's an idiot, only you are clever!"
Nowadays I leave such a person standing in the middle of the road.
I say, "Oops, I just remembered, I have to go!" And I stay composed.
And there are women who are always still moved.
Who instead of "man says" say "woman says" and are otherwise very agitated.
They believe that they are victims of masculine urges.
Not in the face, but still in their head, they are still stuck in 1970.
I used to always say - and even I was sick of it myself -
"Please don't believe me, really, no, I'm not a macho!"

And I stay composed.
