Över isklädd vak och mörka skogar
Under vita toppar av gran och tall

En föreställning på andlig nivå

Och urskogen tystlåtet ser på
Naturen som så stolt visar upp
Sin varmaste nordliga skrud
Och skogen ger vika för nattens
Och urskogens bländande brud

Där älvorna dansa om natten
I skogsmörkrets täta dimma
Där vargarna sorgset yla
I nattens och mörkrets timma
Där norrskenet sakta och ljudlöst drar fram
Skingrar sig snöfylld dimma
Ty ljusskenets vackra skepnad
Har inträtt I nattens timma

Nu fröjdas skogens varelser

Over ice-covered lakes and dark forests
Under white tops of fir and pine
Through the winding streams of silent currents
The winter shadow's lamenting cold is heard
Under the full moon's shining eye
Where the ravens circle silently in the sky
The hour of dawn is still far away
As it slowly approaches the forest's edge

A mirage of light play and hovering shadows
A performance on a spiritual level
Where all the creatures of the forest sing
And the primeval forest silently watches
Nature proudly shows off
Its warmest northern garb
And the forest gives way to the night
And the dazzling bride of the primeval forest

Where the elves dance at night
In the dense fog of the forest darkness
Where the wolves mournfully howl
In the hour of night and darkness
Where the aurora borealis slowly and silently passes by
Snowy fog dissipates
For the beautiful form of light
Has entered the hour of night

Now the creatures of the forest rejoice
Who have gathered to watch
This colorful northern light show
But soon it will all be over
And darkness will return
