קַנֵּא לְשִׁמְךָ נוֹרָא וְנִקְדָּשׁ

זְרוּיֵינוּ קַבֵּץ, וְשִׁיר לְךָ יְחֻדָּשׁ
קַיְּמֵם וְהַחֲיֵם, בְּבִנְיַן בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ

וְכַעֲשׂוֹתְךָ נוֹרָאוֹת
,בְּאוֹתָן הַיָּמִים
אִתָּנוּ הַפְלֵא
,תְּשׁוּעַת עוֹלָמִים
מְצֹא לְפָנֶיךָ
כֹּפֶר וְתַנְחוּמִים
קֵל מֶלֶךְ יוֹשֵׁב עַל כִּסֵּא רַחֲמִים

Kanei

Be jealous for your awesome and holy name,
See your vineyard destroyed and trampled,
Gather our outcasts and let a song be renewed for you,
Strengthen and revitalize us with the building of the holy temple.

And as you have done terrible things
in such days,
Distinguish us,
with eternal salvation.
Find in your presence,
atonement and consolation,
God, King, who sits on the throne of mercy.
