Попала в место, где стоял мужик с изолентой
Толстая тётка с сумкой на шее
Плачет от счастья, что не стала мишенью
Звонит в неотложку продавщица из кваса
Собаки бегут на запах палёного мяса
Разлетелось внимание, сердце бьет счёт
И приходит понимание чего-то еще
И не касаясь между нами
В грациозе и пластике
Течёт еще одна реальность
Покруче фантастики
Её немногие видят
Бегут за ней, а потом
Одни уходят на небо
Другие уходят в дурдом
Мужик с изолентой валяется в луже
Взрослые думают - что может быть хуже
А детям не грустно, но они это скрывают
Может, пока они дети, они больше нас знают
Но они спрячут улыбки, и больше их не покажут
Потому что за радость их непременно накажут
Они станут, как мы - не надо морочиться
Мы тоже не улыбаемся, когда действительно хочется
И не касаясь между нами
В грациозе и пластике

Бегут за ней, а потом

Когда приехала скорая, все вокруг бегали
Люди кинулись к врачам, ой, хорошо, что вы приехали
Идите скорее, и все махают руками
Там человека убило, смотрите сами
Вот это место, мы даже сделали фотки
Вот обгоревший асфальт, вот изоленты ошмётки
Но все внезапно заткнулись, ведь внизу под ногами
Вместо убитого надпись -
БЛАГОДАРЮ, ЧТО ЖИЛ С ВАМИ

Fantasy

A bolt of lightning struck the ground, a ribbon so bright,
Hit the spot where a man stood with electrical tape in sight.
A plump lady with a bag hanging from her neck,
Cries with relief, grateful she wasn't the target of the wreck.
The kvass vendor calls an ambulance in a flurry,
Dogs rush towards the scent of burning flesh in a hurry.
Attention scatters, hearts beat a frantic pace,
And the realization of something more fills this space.
And without touching, between you and me,
In grace and fluidity,
Another reality flows,
More incredible than any fantasy shows.
Few can see it,
They chase after it, and then you see,
Some ascend to the heavens above,
Others descend into the asylum's glove.
The man with the electrical tape lies in a puddle,
Adults ponder - what could be more of a muddle?
But the children aren't sad, though they conceal it deep within,
Perhaps, as children, they know more than we've ever seen.
But they'll hide their smiles, never to be shown again,
Because for joy, they'll surely be punished, my friend.
They'll become like us - no need for fuss or bother,
We too don't smile when we truly long to, like no other.

When the ambulance arrived, everyone was in a frenzy,
People rushed to the medics, "Oh, thank goodness you came, it's breezy!"
Go quickly, they all gesture with their hands,
A man was killed there, see for yourselves, it's in the sands.
This is the place, we even took pictures, look,
Here's the scorched asphalt, here are the electrical tape's remains, forsook.
But everyone suddenly fell silent, for beneath their feet,
Instead of the dead man, an inscription they meet -
