Olvidan que debajo de esa etiqueta, cada ser es original

Hoy elijo ser yo mismo, sin etiquetas que limiten mi ser

Separando países crearon fronteras, motivo de casi todas las guerras

In a revealed sense I am, head of creation
In a concept without limitation, I am what I am today

And what are you, you ask what community, group or sect you represent
The typical frequent question that kept going around in my mind
Thinking that if I belong to something I cease to be part of everything else
And if I seek to unify the whole world, there is a contradiction in that context

Take a look at the world and you will see how everyone lives labeled
Different groups mark their differences and walk all separated
There are those who have had no choice but to settle into something and try to fit in
They forget that under that label, each being is original

If I was many things before and tomorrow who knows what I will be
Today I choose to be myself, without labels that limit my being
Because underneath all that, is my spirit asking for freedom
I break the limitations, and the labels are left behind

If I said RASTAFARI with the power to feel and know what I am saying
It is because I know it means more than just belonging to a movement
The privilege of calling it is the same for me, for you or for that one
We are all children of the same light even though you use another name to invoke its power

I am not a hippie, nor the typical Jamaican style rasta
I don't want any more dogmas with bases of established behaviors
Neither Jewish nor Krishna or Buddhist nor communist, nothing about politics or religion
Not even Roman Catholic Apostolic thank God they didn't baptize me

I'm not an old rebel, nor a famous revolutionary
But with only my music and my lyrics, more than one I left thinking

I am just someone who has recovered the importance of trusting yourself

I use any rhythm that flows, to sing the message I bring

I am not a rocker or a rapper, or a dancehaller or a reggae artist either

I am not Chilean nor Argentine, nationalism disgusts me
Nations only divide and forget that in the end the origin is the same
I insist, I do not bring a flag, and if I had one it would be that of mother earth

I am not a smoker, nor a marijuana user
I don't need to stigmatize myself to let you know what I want
If at times the fire is lit and at times I don't need it
I feel totally free not to depend or be a stereotype
