She Couldn't breathe she could've passed.

But I sold weed and cell phones.

Popo never caught me slipping

Drunk driving thru the city streets.
But His angels watched over me.

Instead of punishment He gave mercy.
While I was sinning showed me He love me

Jesus came and took a good beating
Just so I could be here still breathing.

Just so I could could have the chance
To take a hold of God's hand.

So I could say yes to His call.
To repent from sin and turn from it all.

When I was living life without a clue
A man with no view of future moves

Temptation round every corner
But where I was weak God was stronger.

From Pittsburg to these Dallas streets.
From South Korea to the Philippines.
I met a whole lot of people just like me!

Almost ruined my marriage a time or two.
I was confused didn't know what to do.

I thought cause I had stopped wildn out
Everything in my life would be perfect now.

I had performance religion.
I had a misunderstanding...

That made me angry at God... and that took a toll on my family!

I thought that providing was good enough
But really I didn't know how to love.

I thought I needed respect from my wife but really I needed to man up!

We separated, hate incubated, satan infiltrated he was doing the most.

He instigated my foolish pride as I moved towards getting a divorce.

But a 3 cord strand can't break though.
Even when I backslide God came for me.

Turn my whole world around like a Mary go.
To say we are still here is a miracle

It's been 7 years with wife.
That's the grace of God in my life.
That's the favor of God in my life
don't know what I would do without Christ!

Mama hätte an dem Tag meiner Geburt sterben können.
Sie konnte nicht atmen, sie hätte sterben können.

Aber sie lebte und widmete mich
Dem Herrn, ich sehe, Gott hatte Seine Hand auf uns

Stur wie ein Jugendlicher.
Noch schlimmer, als ich 18 war.

Aber ich habe meinen Abschluss gemacht, ohne Kinder und
Ohne Geschlechtskrankheiten, Halleluja Jesus.

...Ich habe nie im Ghetto gedealt.
Aber ich habe Gras und Handys verkauft.

Die Polizei hat mich nie erwischt
Gott wusste davon und hat mich nicht verurteilt.

War ein Lügner, Betrüger und ein Dieb
Lästerer, mein Gott, du meine Güte.

Betrunken durch die Straßen der Stadt gefahren.
Aber Seine Engel wachten über mich.

Anstelle von Strafe gab Er mir Gnade.
Während ich sündigte, zeigte Er mir, dass Er mich liebt

Jesus kam und wurde übel zugerichtet
Nur damit ich hier sein und atmen kann.

Nur damit ich die Chance haben konnte
Gottes Hand zu ergreifen.

Damit ich Ja zu Seinem Ruf sagen konnte.
Die Sünde bereuen und mich von allem abwenden.

Als ich mein Leben ohne Plan lebte
Ein Mann ohne Blick auf zukünftige Schritte

Versuchung an jeder Ecke
Aber wo ich schwach war, war Gott stärker.

Sag mir nicht, dass Gott nicht real ist, Kumpel
Von Pittsburg bis zu diesen Straßen von Dallas.
Von Südkorea bis zu den Philippinen.
Ich habe eine ganze Menge Leute getroffen, genau wie ich!

Habe meine Ehe ein- oder zweimal fast ruiniert.
Ich war verwirrt, wusste nicht, was ich tun sollte.

Ich dachte, weil ich aufgehört hatte, mich wild zu benehmen
Wäre alles in meinem Leben jetzt perfekt.

Ich hatte eine Leistungsreligion.
Ich hatte ein Missverständnis...

Das machte mich wütend auf Gott... und das forderte seinen Tribut von meiner Familie!

Ich dachte, dass es gut genug wäre, für sie zu sorgen
Aber in Wirklichkeit wusste ich nicht, wie man liebt.

Ich dachte, ich bräuchte Respekt von meiner Frau, aber in Wirklichkeit musste ich mich zusammenreißen!

Wir trennten uns, Hass brütete, Satan infiltrierte, er tat alles Mögliche.

Er stachelte meinen törichten Stolz an, als ich mich auf eine Scheidung zubewegte.

Aber ein dreifaches Seil kann nicht brechen.
Selbst wenn ich rückfällig werde, kam Gott für mich.

Dreh meine ganze Welt herum wie ein Karussell.
Dass wir immer noch hier sind, ist ein Wunder

Es sind 7 Jahre mit meiner Frau.
Das ist die Gnade Gottes in meinem Leben.
Das ist die Gunst Gottes in meinem Leben
Ich weiß nicht, was ich ohne Christus tun würde!
