Poetry vs. Nonsense

The more money I spend, the more paper money I have
I buy a flying carpet to fly to Bordeaux
To visit my two-hundred-year-old grandmother
And my childhood leopard, Bobo
She invites me to drink champagne and tells me
That the world has been free of war since last week
And that next year I will fall in love with the one who
Always leaves me the last piece of cake
Don't mind me if I talk nonsense, just nonsense
You don't understand what poetry is
Pop songs, Wing Chun
It's what comes out of thin air, nothing and everything
How would I know? I just say whatever
I don't care about good outcomes or bad outcomes
I'm just here to speak my mind
Is it poetry or nonsense?
At first, they probably sound more or less the same
So leave me alone
Take a guitar and sing everywhere
Millions of children will never go hungry again
No one sits on the couch on the internet
Because we've found true joy
Don't mind me if I talk nonsense, just nonsense
You don't understand what poetry is
Pop songs, Wing Chun
It's what comes out of thin air, artifice or masterpiece
How would I know? I just say whatever
I don't care about good outcomes or bad outcomes
I'm just here to speak my mind
Is it poetry or nonsense?
Great dreams probably sound more or less the same at first
Just leave me alone
