My plucking fingertips resemble a waning moon, a faint guiding light illuminating my path in the fading days.
The lingering sounds after the cold ringing out seeps into the creeping night, staining it.

The path to the moon, a faint scent, a blurry corner of my vision.
Was I wrong for calling it simple? Was I crying?

The sky that I yearned for is somehow a little different from the hue I painted.
I stand frozen behind the distorted stage.
Before I knew it, I had come so far away.

The sky I desired is a little different from the shade I painted,
but if I were to release my clasped hands, I would hold onto them.
