Al Haqqah

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الْحَاقَّةُ (1) مَا الْحَاقَّةُ (2) وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحَاقَّةُ (3) كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌ بِالْقَارِعَةِ (4)
فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِالطَّاغِيَةِ (5) وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ (6)
سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَثَمَانِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى الْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَى
كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ (7) فَهَلْ تَرَى لَهُمْ مِنْ بَاقِيَةٍ (8)
وَجَاءَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَنْ قَبْلَهُ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتُ بِالْخَاطِئَةِ (9) فَعَصَوْا رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ
فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةً رَابِيَةً (10) إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَى الْمَاءُ حَمَلْنَاكُمْ فِي الْجَارِيَةِ (11)

لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً وَتَعِيَهَا أُذُنٌ وَاعِيَةٌ (12) فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ نَفْخَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ (13)
وَحُمِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَالْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَاحِدَةً (14) فَيَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُ (15)
وَانْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَهِيَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ (16) وَالْمَلَكُ عَلَى أَرْجَائِهَا
وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَانِيَةٌ (17) يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ
لَا تَخْفَى مِنْكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ (18) فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَيَقُولُ هَاؤُمُ اقْرَءُوا كِتَابِيَهْ (19)

إِنِّي ظَنَنْتُ أَنِّي مُلَاقٍ حِسَابِيَهْ (20) فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَاضِيَةٍ (21) فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ (22)
قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ (23) كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْخَالِيَةِ (24)
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِشِمَالِهِ فَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَابِيَهْ (25)
وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ (26) يَا لَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ الْقَاضِيَةَ (27) مَا أَغْنَى عَنِّي مَالِيَهْ (28)
هَلَكَ عَنِّي سُلْطَانِيَهْ (29) خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ (30) ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ (31)
ثُمَّ فِي سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَاسْلُكُوهُ (32)

إِنَّهُ كَانَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ (33) وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ (34)
فَلَيْسَ لَهُ الْيَوْمَ هَاهُنَا حَمِيمٌ (35) وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ (36)
لَا يَأْكُلُهُ إِلَّا الْخَاطِئُونَ (37) فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ (38) وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ (39)
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ (40) وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ قَلِيلًا مَا تُؤْمِنُونَ (41)
وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ (42) تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (43)

وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ (44) لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ (45) ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ (46)
فَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَاجِزِينَ (47) وَإِنَّهُ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ (48)
وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنْكُمْ مُكَذِّبِينَ (49) وَإِنَّهُ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ (50)
وَإِنَّهُ لَحَقُّ الْيَقِينِ (51) فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ (52)

Al Haqqah

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The Reality (1) What is the Reality? (2) And what will make you know what the Reality is? (3) Thamud and 'Ad denied the Striking Calamity (4)
As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the excessive [blast]. (5) And as for 'Ad, they were destroyed by a furious squall of wind (6)
Which He directed against them for seven nights and eight days successively, and you would see the people lying overthrown in it (7)
As if they were hollow trunks of date-palms. (8) Then do you see any of them remaining? (9)
And Pharaoh and those before him, and the overturned cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah], committed error. (10) And they disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord, (11)
so He seized them with a surpassing grip. (12) Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried you in the floating [vessel], (13)

That We might make it a reminder for you, and that the retaining ear might retain [it]. (14) So when the Horn is blown with one blast (15)
And the earth and the mountains are carried and crushed with one crush (16) Then on that Day, the Event will occur. (17)
And the heaven will split open, and on that Day it will be frail. (18) And the angels will be on its edges. (19)
And the Throne of your Lord will be borne by eight [angels] above them on that Day. (20) On that Day, you will be presented [for judgment], (21)
not absent from you will be anything hidden. (22) So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! (23)

Indeed, I was certain that I would encounter my account." (24) So he will be in a pleasant life (25) In an elevated Garden, (26)
Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near. (27) [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth [of good deeds] in days past!" (28)
But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record, (29)
And I had not known what is my account. (30) Oh, I wish it had been the decisive death! (31) My wealth has not availed me at all. (32)
My power has gone from me." (33) [It will be said], "Seize him and shackle him, (34) Then throw him into the Blaze. (35)
Then, into a chain whose length is seventy cubits, bind him." (36)

Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great, (37) Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor. (38)
So there is for him no close friend here today, (39) Nor any food except discharges from wounds, (40)
Which none will eat but the sinners." (41) So I swear by what you see (42) And what you do not see (43)
That this is indeed the word of a noble Messenger. (44) And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. (45)
Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. (46) [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. (47)

And if he had made up about Us some [false] sayings, (48) We would have seized him by the right hand; (49) Then We would have cut from him the aorta. (50)
And not one of you could have prevented [Us] from him. (51) And indeed, it is a reminder for the righteous. (52)
And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. (53) And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret for the disbelievers. (54)
And indeed, it is the certain truth. (55) So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. (56)
