Al Humazah

بِسْمِ اللَّه الرَّحْمَن الرَّحِيم
وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ (١)
ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ (٢)
يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهۥ (٣)
كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ (٤)
وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ (٥)
نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ (٦)
ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ (٧)
إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ (٨)
فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ (٩)

Al Humazah

In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful
Woe to every slanderer and backbiter (1)
Who gathers wealth and counts it (2)
He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever (3)
No! He will surely be thrown into the crushing torment (4)
And what will explain to you what is the crushing torment? (5)
It is the fire of Allah, kindled (6)
Which mounts over the hearts (7)
Indeed, it shall be closed down upon them (8)
