Al Lail

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
Wal laili idzaa yaghsyaa
Wannahari idza tajalla
Wama khalaqadz dzakara Wal untsa
Inna sa'yakum lasyatta
Fa amma man a'thaa wattaqa
Wa shaddaqa bil husna
Fasanuyassiruhu lil yusra
Wa amma mamm bakhila wastaghna
Wa kadzdzaba bil husna
Fasanuyassiruhu lil u'sra
Wama yughnii 'anhu maaluhu idzaa taradda
Inna 'alainaa lal hudaa
Wa inna la naa lal aakhirata Wal uulaa
Fa andzartukum naaran taladhdhoo
La yashlaahaa illaal asyqaa
Alladzi kadzdzaba watawalla
Wa sayujannabuhal atqaa
Alladzi yu'ti maalahuu yatazakkaa
Wa ma lil ahadin 'indahuu min ni'matin tujzaa
Illab tighaa awajhi Robbi hil a'laa
Wa lasaufa yardhaa

The Night

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Night as it envelops
And the Day as it brightens
And He who created the male and the female
Indeed, your efforts are diverse.
So as for he who gives and fears God
And believes in the best
We will ease him toward ease.
But as for he who is stingy and considers himself self-sufficient
And denies the best
We will ease him toward hardship.
And what will his wealth avail him when he perishes?
Indeed, [it is] Ours to guide.
And indeed, to Us belong the Hereafter and the first [life].
So I have warned you of a Fire blazing
None will be burned therein except the most wretched
Who denied and turned away.
But the righteous will be spared it
[He] who gives of his wealth to purify himself
And no one has a favor over Him that would necessitate a repayment
Except the desire for the Face of his Lord, the Most High.
And he will be pleased.
