AnNaba
An-Naba'
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
About what are they asking? (1) About the great news (2)
That over which they are in disagreement. (3) Nay, they will come to know! (4)
Again, nay, they will come to know! (5) Have We not made the earth a resting place? (6)
And the mountains as pegs? (7) And have We not created you in pairs? (8)
And made your sleep [a means of] rest? (9) And made the night as clothing? (10)
And made the day for livelihood? (11) And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]? (12)
And made [therein] a burning lamp? (13) And sent down from the rain clouds pouring water? (14)
That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation (15) And gardens of entwined growth. (16)
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time (17) The Day the Horn will be blown, and you will come forth in multitudes (18)
And the heaven will be opened and will become gateways (19) And the mountains will be set in motion and become a mirage. (20)
Indeed, Hellfire is a place of ambush (21) For the transgressors, a place of return (22)
They will abide therein for ages. (23) They will not taste therein coolness or any drink (24)
Except boiling water and scalding pus (25) An appropriate recompense. (26)
Indeed, they did not expect an account (27) And denied Our verses with denial. (28)
But We have enumerated everything in writing. (29) So taste [this punishment], for We will not increase you except in torment. (30)
Indeed, for the righteous is attainment (31) Gardens and grapevines (32)
And full-breasted [companions] of equal age (33) And a full cup [of wine]. (34)
They will not hear therein meaningless speech or denial. (35) [As] a reward from your Lord, a gift, sufficient. (36)
[He is] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They will not possess from Him [the power of] intercession. (37)
The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak
Except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is right. (38)
That is the Day of Truth, so whoever wills may take to his Lord a [path of] return. (39)
Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth
And the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish I were dust!" (40)
