気が付くとまた目が覚めて
初めに見るいつもの天井
今日はどんな服を着て
何を食べようか

最後に見るいつもの天井
明日は何をして
何を思うだろう

歩けば足音が心地よくて
疲れた体が心地よくて
瞬きするように小さな事だけど
それが幸せ

誰かの言葉があたたかくて
あなたの笑顔があたたかくて
ひとつひとつ喜びが積もっていく
これが一番の幸せ

上手くいかない事もある
なんでいつもこうなるんだろう
零れたため息がすぐに跳ね返る

帰り道北風が冷たくて
変だな頬がやけに冷たくて
逃げ出したい日もあるけど
心細い夜は尚更

灯した明かりがあたたかくて
もたれた背中があたたかくて
きっとこんな夜も大事なもの
確かめるためにあるんだろう

Poetry of Happiness

Almost as if I've just come awake,
The first thing I see is the familiar ceiling.
What clothes shall I wear today,
And what shall I eat?

Almost as if I've just fallen asleep,
The last thing I see is the familiar ceiling.
What shall I do tomorrow,
And what shall I think about?

As I walk, the sound of my footsteps is pleasant,
My tired body feels good,
These tiny things, like the blinking of my eyes,
Bring me happiness.

Someone's words are warm,
Your smile is warm,
My joy grows with each little thing.
This is the greatest joy.

There are times when things don't go well,
Why does this always happen to me?
My sigh echoes back at me.

On my way home, the north wind is cold,
My cheeks are wet somehow,
There are times I want to run away,
Especially on lonely nights.

The light I turned on is warm,
My resting back is warm,
I suppose even such nights are precious,
To remind me of the important things in life.
