Πάγωσ' η τσιμινιέρα
κι απ' έξω από την πύλη
εργάτες μαζεμένοι συζητάνε
Προχώρησε η μέρα
με δαγκωμένα χείλη
σηκώνουν τα πανό και ξεκινάνε
Πέντε καμιόνια στείλαν
στου φεγγαριού τη χάση
και γύρισαν γεμάτα απεργοσπάστες
Γεμάτα ξαναφύγαν
κανείς δε θα περάσει
κάλλιο να πάμε όλοι μετανάστες
Πέρασε ένας μήνας
οι μηχανές σκουριάζουν
και τα παιδιά κρυώνουν και πεινάνε
στους δρόμους της Αθήνας
φέιγ βολάν μοιράζουν
εργάτες κι υποστήριξη ζητάνε

they raise the banners and set off
Five trucks they sent
at the moon's disappearance
and they returned full of scab workers
They left full again
no one will pass
better for us all to go as emigrants
A month has passed
the machines are rusting
and the children shiver and go hungry
on the streets of Athens
they distribute leaflets
workers asking for support
