В железном дворце греха живёт наш ласковый враг
На нём копыта и хвост, и золотом вышит жилет
А где-то в него влюблена дева пятнадцати лет

Ударим в малиновый звон, спасём всех дев от него, подлеца
Посадим их всех под замок, и к дверям приложим печать
Но девы морально сильны и страсть как не любят скучать
И сами построют дворец, и найдут, как вызвать жильца
По морю плывёт пароход, из трубы - берёзовый дым
На мостике - сам капитан: весь в белом, с медной трубой
А снизу плывёт морской змей и тащит его за собой
Но, если про это не знать, можно долго быть молодым
Если бы я был один, я бы всю жизнь искал, где ты
Если бы нас было сто, мы бы пели за круглым столом
А так - неизвестный нам, но похожий
На ястреба с ясным крылом
Глядит на себя и на нас из сияющей пустоты
Так оставим мирские дела и все уедем в Тибет -
Ходить из Непала в Сикким загадочной горной тропой
А наш капитан приплывёт к деве пятнадцати лет
Они нарожают детей и станут сами собой
Если бы я был один, я бы всю жизнь искал, где ты
Если бы нас было сто, мы бы пели за круглым столом
А так - неизвестный нам, но похожий
На ястреба с ясным крылом

From the Shining Void

In the iron palace of sin, our gentle enemy resides
He has hooves and a tail, and a vest embroidered with gold
And somewhere, a fifteen-year-old maiden is in love with him
Because with neighbors it's boring, but with him, maybe not
Let's strike the crimson bell, save all the maidens from him, the scoundrel
