День сменялся днем
Берег врос в его дом
Из цветного песка
Что дала река

Пас овец в траве
Пчел пускал к себе
И ладонь широка
Как внизу река

Пес вилял хвостом
Значит, хочет в дом
Заходи, пока
Не затекла река

И орел, голубой,
Как его небеса,
Охраняет века
За орлом река

У нее много сил и дел,
Человек там и пил и ел
И лаская ее бока
Ей шептал: "Ты моя река"

Он хотел ей сказать еще
Что вся жизнь его для нее
И, если сохнут твои берега,
То приди и возьми ее.

Было лето, дышалось легко
Наш герой не ходил далеко
Да зачем уходить пока
Не заблестит река

Но случилась над летом ночь
Увлекая героя прочь
Обдувая его свысока:
"Не узнает твоя река".

Все хватали ее за хвост
Пес не пускал на мост
И орел клевал ей бока
И кричала вся в слезах река.

Он вернулся дней через пять
И друзей захотел обнять
Только ворон встречал дурака
Вся иссохлась твоя река...

У нее много сил и дел,
Человек там и пил и ел
И лаская ее бока
Ей шептал: "Ты моя река"

Он хотел ей сказать еще
Что вся жизнь его для нее
Но хотеть - еще не сказать
Раз уйти - много раз продать...

The River

Day turned into day
The shore became part of his home
From the colored sand
That the river gave

He grazed his sheep in the grass
Let the bees come to him
And his palm was wide
Like the river below

The dog wagged its tail
It means it wants to come inside
Come in, while
The river hasn't overflowed

And the eagle, blue,
Like his skies,
Guards for centuries
Beyond the eagle, the river

She has much strength and many deeds,
The man drank and ate there
And caressing her sides
Whispered to her: "You are my river"

He wanted to tell her more
That his whole life was for her
And if your banks dry up,
Then come and take it.

It was summer, breathing was easy
Our hero didn't go far
Why leave while
The river doesn't gleam

But night fell upon summer
Carrying the hero away
Blowing on him from above:
"Your river won't recognize you".

Everyone grabbed her by the tail
The dog wouldn't let them on the bridge
And the eagle pecked at her sides
And the whole river cried in tears.

He returned five days later
And wanted to hug his friends
Only the raven met the fool
Your whole river has dried up...

She has much strength and many deeds,
The man drank and ate there
