Блаженны духом нищие
В небесном царстве их обетованье
Исчезнут в вечности и горе, и страданье
Насытит Бог небесной пищей их
Блаженны те, что на земле
Слезинкой чистой темень освещают
Душе, которая пока еще не знает
Что светит свет Христов в кромешной мгле
Блаженны кроткие в смирении своем
Так непонятны и порой так странны
Им новый мир в земле обетованной
Бог приготовил в царствии своем
Блаженны милостивые, их пробил час
Бог милосерд и каждое мгновенье
Все создает он новое творенье
За милость вашу милует он вас
Блаженны те, кто в чистоте сердец
Узрели Бога, жили Христа ради
За милосердье их в небесном граде
Нетленной славы будет ждать венец
Блаженны вы, когда творите мир
Сынами божьими в царстве наречетесь
Вы на земле о Господе печетесь
И Бог отец вас пригласит на пир
Блаженны вы, коль изгоняют вас
За правду божью пусть изгоняют
Господь все видит, и настанет час
В небесном царстве свет ваш воссияет
Блаженны вы, когда поносят вас
Неправедно и всячески злословят
За имя господа как и пророков гонят
Веселья радости наступит скоро час
Вы соль земли, и миру свет
Да светит свет ваш, всему миру
Врагов любите, согревайте сирых

Blessed are the poor in spirit
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven
In eternity sorrow and suffering will disappear
God will fill them with heavenly food
Blessed are those who mourn on earth
With a pure tear they illuminate the darkness
To a soul that does not yet know
That the light of Christ shines in the utter darkness
Blessed are the meek in their humility
So incomprehensible and sometimes so strange
God has prepared a new world for them in the promised land
In His kingdom
Blessed are the merciful, their hour has struck
God is merciful and every moment
He creates everything anew
For your mercy, He will show you mercy
Blessed are the pure in heart
They have seen God, lived for Christ's sake
For their mercy in the heavenly city
A crown of incorruptible glory awaits
Blessed are you when you make peace
You will be called sons of God in the kingdom
You care for the Lord on earth
And God the Father will invite you to a feast
Blessed are you when they persecute you
For the sake of God's truth let them persecute you
The Lord sees everything and the hour will come
Your light will shine in the heavenly kingdom
Blessed are you when they revile you
Unrighteously and in every way slander you
For the name of the Lord and as the prophets are persecuted
The hour of joy and rejoicing will soon come
You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world
Let your light shine for all the world to see
