Народ, я знаю, сказки сочиняет, о призраке, что там живёт внутри."
И снова этот странный шум, он слышен был из-за двери,
Которая, похоже, век закрыта.
Хозяин дома не сказал, когда его мне продавал,
Куда ведёт и что за нею скрыто.
Мне показался странным он, и вид как будто обречён,
Седых волос густая прядь виднелась.
Её скрывает капюшон, с рожденья голоса лишён,
Он прохрипел, едва его расслышал.
ПРИПЕВ:
В ту ночь неосторожно я, навлёк проклятье на себя
И держат стены, эти словно взаперти
Ты просто говорил с собой, в какой-то комнате пустой
В неё так много лет никто не заходил.
"- А нет ли от неё ключа?" Но он исчезнул без следа,
Когда к нему я снова обратился.
Невежда, - лишь подумал я, а впрочем это ерунда,
Я завтра разберусь, сейчас нет смысла.
Но лишь я закрывал глаза, шум доносился словно там,
За нею явно кто-то ищет выход.
И слов почти не разобрать, её придется мне ломать,
Какого чёрта, что же тут творится.
ПРИПЕВ:
В ту ночь неосторожно я, навлёк проклятье на себя
И держат стены, эти словно взаперти
Ты просто говорил с собой, в какой-то комнате пустой
В неё так много лет никто не заходил.
Огонь мой в фонаре дрожал, а я всё дальше вглубь шагал,
"- Эй, кто здесь? Я прошу вас, отзовитесь!"
Скрипев, качалась там петля, в ней свою голову склоня
Повешен был скелет, весь в паутине.
Он мёртв уже был много лет, во что-то старое одет,
Седых волос густая прядь, виднелась.
Хозяин должен быть один, а мне покой необходим!
И взгляд его на мне остановился.
Я прочь по лестнице бежал. "- Невежда!" Он мне вслед кричал
Закрылась дверь мне преграждая выход
"- Две сотни лет я был один, с тех пор ни кто не навестил
В петле удобно ждать, поверь привыкнешь!"
