Oh, Mother Night, daughter of Svarog, Hide the ancient covenants of our fathers From the eyes of the fierce, black enemy, In the depths of sacred forests.
Once more, with bated breath, I utter the words, barely breathing: Glory to you, Motherland dear!
Glory to the Russian soul!
