Папа пахнет табаком, жжёным, горьким потом
Порохом и сапогом, что увяз в болото
Пахнет он грозой в дали, серым клубом пыли

Молчаливый странный он, сядет у порога
Изучая горизонт, смотрит на дорогу
Что-то видит он в дали, или что-то ищет?
Прошагавший пол земли - километров тыщи!
Нет, не ищет ни чего, глядя на дорогу
Ждёт друзей своих с войны ваньку и серёгу
Что лежат в земле они, нет, не хочет верить
Чтоб мы с мамою смогли, чтобы мы сумели!!!
Вместе сквозь огонь и лёд, через круги ада
Дни и ночи на пролёт, шли его ребята
По бескрайним берегам, шли с победной песней
Чтоб позволить нам и вам быть друг с другом вместе!
Папа пахнет табаком, мокрым, грязным дотом
Криком, оборвавшим сон, гарью от прилёта
Пахнет он росой зари, запах, чей забыли
