Кровь изумрудная на землю хлынула -
Это солнце вспороло весне брюхо,
Короткий нож ночей вынуло,
Соловьиной спицей проткнуло ухо.
Собрало на горле пальцев золото,
Душит сон мой в самом начале.
Проснусь, уберу в кобуру сердца холода
Ржавеющие печали.
Лопнет лета зеленая кожа,
Сверкнет глубиною цветочная рана,
Станет смерть еще на один лепесток моложе
Облетающего тюльпана.
Я пью из одуванчиков вино.
В раю теперь зима.
Пролью сквозь сердце лета волшебство.
Сойду с ума.
Вздрогнет крылом птенца небо,
Уронит на землю голубые крохи.
Вырвутся из травы плена
К облакам васильков вздохи.
Выкипит льдинкой лето
На жарких детских ладонях,
Созреет колосьями лунного света,
В дождях проливных утонет.
И полетят по остывающим небесам
Дней сентября лоскуты золотые,
А дальше - ты знаешь сам -
Осень, глаза пустые...
Я пью из одуванчиков вино.
В раю теперь зима.
Пролью сквозь сердце лета волшебство.
Сойду с ума.

There Was Not

Emerald blood gushed onto the earth -
The sun ripped open spring's belly,
Pulled out the short knife of nights,
Pierced the ear with a nightingale's needle.
Gathered gold of fingers on my throat,
Strangles my sleep at its very beginning.
I'll wake up, put the coldness of the heart in its holster,
Rusting sorrows.
The green skin of summer will burst,
A flower wound will gleam with depth,
Death will become one petal younger
Than the falling tulip.
I drink wine from dandelions.
Now it's winter in paradise.
I'll pour the magic of summer through my heart.
I'll go crazy.
The sky will shudder with the wing of a chick,
Dropping blue crumbs on the ground.
Sighs of cornflowers will break free from the grass,
Soaring towards the clouds.
Summer will boil away like an ice cube
On hot children's palms,
It will ripen with ears of moonlight,
Drowning in torrential rains.
And scraps of golden September days will fly
Across the cooling skies,
And then - you know yourself -
Autumn, empty eyes...
