На краю земли

Я снова на краю земли,
Где не боятся корабли
Себя отдать за так волне солёной.
Где высыхают облака
И мимолётная строка
Хранит ожог космического лона.
Вновь стынет трепетный висок,
И вулканический песок
Глотает брызги в такт мольбе прибоя;
Считают вахты моряки,
Им не погаснут маяки,
А чудо до поры всегда слепое.
Здесь судьбы разные корпят,
Неровен час – метнутся вспять
Немые стрелки – вздрогнет полуостров.
Но пограничники застав
До точки выполнят устав
И встретит день страна привычно просто.
И рады были опоздать
Дожди-снега, тоске под стать –
Проверка без имён глухой стихии.
Кому отмерено одно:
Прочнее жизни полотно,
Мы без одежд пришли –
Уйдём нагие.
Пусть на дрожжах всегда вулкан,
Пусть шлёт циклоны океан –
Удар держать, презреть озноб недуга.
Чьи сроки зыбятся и где
Сочится тонкая кудель,
Не ведаем о том ни сном, ни духом.

At the edge of the earth

I'm back on the edge of the earth,
Where ships are not afraid
