Вторник, второе августа, время - десять без десяти
Лето в поре, однако сказать, что жарко, никак нельзя: не жарко
Солнца не хватит даже и малый паводок извести
Впрочем, откуда паводок? Ветер слаб, небо чисто. Суха лежанка

Я вчера фантазировал, и фантазия мне удалась
Выдумал я, что лету как раз и следует быть вот таким как это
Дням его надлежит шелестеть прохладно, свободно длясь
Тут, полагаю, ты возмутишься - мол, тоже мне лето!

Кроме того, я выдумал разнополых двух визави
Скачут они по корту в одном белье и туда-сюда мечут мячик
Эти самец и самка в прямом родстве с божеством любви
Даром что он кретин, а она неряха, как сотни её землячек

Очень ему по нраву её четыре ноги и хвост
Ей же в не меньшей степени импонируют бивни его и когти
"Ужас!" - воскликнешь ты, а по мне - так это потомки звёзд
Глаз не свожу, слежу, всё ли там у них ладно на корте

Вроде пока всё ладно - танцоры, музыка, верхний свет
Жаль вот, листва кругом чересчур жива: в натуральном искусство тонет
Из-за листвы-то зритель и не ликует, что нет то нет
Плачет и стонет он, не препятствуй, пусть, если хочет, плачет и стонет

Многим ещё в новинку велеречивые позвонки
От болтовни запястий был и со мною когда-то спазм, весь вышел
Веруй, что есть в природе и кроме этого языки
Спорить не буду, может и есть, не знаю, не слышал.
